Say hello to our newest member of staff – Sue Fleet-Chapman.

Sue has joined us from a local practice and can boast the titles of shortest average distance away from the Peloton office at any one time – by virtue of living up the road – hurrah!

Sue is joining the accountancy team where she brings her expertise and experience in limited company accounts, personal and company taxes, and not to forget her valuable payroll experience.

In between payroll runs she managed to give us a little bit of insight into her world…in her very own words (mostly):

Career in a nutshell: I have worked as an accountant for the last 9 years, previously worked in other Cornish accountancy firms. I gained my first accountancy ‘letters’ within a few years, moving onto the challenge of the ACCA qualification. I have done all but 3 exams – hopefully two in the bag this June!

Certificates on wall: AAT, ACCA up to current level. Drums grades 1-4

Favourite job to do in work:  I really enjoy learning new things, especially embracing technology and finding the efficiencies within to pass on to clients.

The best thing I have ever done: Work; become a qualified AAT accountant and wear a cap and gown in Lincoln Cathedral. Home: Play drums at my own wedding. There is youtube evidence.

Life outside of work: Study, band practice every other Thursday, drum lessons at the weekend and finally – family time with my husband Daren and daughter Sophie.

What people say about me: Well – what they say to my face is; helpful, generous, good company. *
