After a fun-filled and alcohol-fueled evening on Friday, for Tom’s leaving do, we all managed to stay busy this weekend. We particularly take our hats off to Ben Ackner, one of The Peloton’s accountants who was early to rise and don his shirt for the local rugby derby. Ben was playing for Falmouth RFC, one of Cornwall’s oldest rugby teams against our own home team, Penryn. The final score was 13-10 to Falmouth leaving them in the top position in the league, with Penryn sitting just 5 points behind in second place.
Mike and Em took The King out on a jolly from Falmouth to the Helford River, with a delicious cooked breakfast en route. Also on board was Warren Scott, a good friend of Mike Hutch and The Peloton, and founding partner and director of Quintessential Brands.
Claire, one of our senior accountants, spent her weekend, without the tourists being down here, on the beach with her family, enjoying the sunshine.
It was a generally busy weekend but Monday morning and we’re all back to work safely. We hope you enjoyed your weekend, too.
