After working in hospitality as a professionally trained pastry chef in kitchens ranging from the bustling city streets of Johannesburg, the laid back Winelands of Stellenbosch and the snow-covered rocky mountains in Aspen Colorado. I rediscovered my love for bookkeeping and accounts whilst working as a bookkeeper and accounts assistant, let’s face it the hours are more child-friendly!
Having recently moved from sunny South-Africa to beautiful Cornwall to raise our pigeon pair on the green seaside cliffs of the Cornish coast. I count myself very fortunate to start my accounting career at the Peloton under very knowledgeable accountants that are always happy to help. I am currently studying towards an AAT accounting qualification and would like to become chartered in the years to come.
I love how driven everyone here at The Peloton are. Everyone works hard because they love their job and looking after their client’s interests. Always staying on top of their game. It makes me happy to see that there are other people who are as organised and passionate about work as I am, I love it! And a total bonus, we take turns to cook a delicious restaurant style lunch – the best of both worlds.
When I am not working or studying, I enjoy a good glass of wine, pottering around our garden, paddle boarding and pulling sails on our Westerly with my two busybodies and surfing chef husband.
