After getting a degree in Psychology at University West of England, I embarked on a two-year adventure around the world! I’ve ways had a passion for traveling, photography and discovering new cultures. It was inevitable that, at some point, I would have to come back down to earth…
I started my career in 2010 working for a firm of Insolvency Practitioners where I studied for my CPI (Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency) and began my journey into accountancy by studying ACCA.
I have since worked for some interesting companies in Cornwall whilst continuing my ACCA qualification, and developing experience in industry, practice and management roles. My role here at the Peloton is to use my background in finance to drive the wider business objectives forward and produce measurable results.
The ethos at The Peloton is unique – I enjoy using the latest technology, being around a forward-thinking, positive team that is full of energy and new ideas. And of course, the incredible lunches!
Outside of work, I like to volunteer as much as I can and I am currently training with Cornwall Search and Rescue Team to become an on-call volunteer. I’ll often be in some very remote places doing things like navigation, first aid, and rope training! I also like yoga, running, cycling, and walking the beautiful coastal paths around Falmouth. If the weather isn’t so good… you’ll find me inside drinking tea and listening to a podcast!
