Fixed-Fee, Monthly Subscription
At The Peloton we operate a fixed-fee, monthly subscription which includes accounts & tax services to keep HMRC happy, and a lot more. We like to be upfront, and so when we say ‘Fixed Fee’ we mean it, and you won’t receive any nasty surprises along the way. We also like to be really clear about what’s included in your monthly subscription:

What’s included in my monthly fee?
We are a firm of Chartered Accountants, which means our senior accountants have completed a minimum of three years in-depth training, passed a series of rigorous examinations in financial management, auditing, business strategy and taxation, and are committed to continuing professional development to keep their skills up to date.
It also means that our firm is bound by the ICAEW Code of Ethics and subject to disciplinary procedures.
At The Peloton you’ll have your own dedicated accountant who you’ll speak directly to. We hate having to repeat ourselves and we’re sure you do too. You can expect friendly and timely responses from any of our team.
As a ‘Gold Partner’ of Xero we have a wealth of knowledge about this accounting software. All of our accountants are Xero certified, which means they have undertaken their training to become Xero advisors. Xero efficiently and effectively manages invoices, bank reconciliation, bookkeeping, and ultimately automates the accounting process. It’s at the core of our business and we highly recommend it’s at the centre of yours too.
As part of our fixed monthly fee our team will set you up, show you the ropes and be there for you should you have any technical questions. We also hold regular free Xero training events which are open to clients and non-clients.
Receipt bank is an app that pulls information from receipts and invoices quickly, accurately, and efficiently. It also talks directly to Xero. We include it as standard because, quite frankly, no-one should be without it.
When you join us we’ll take a look at which Xero apps could most benefit your business and give you some recommendations. We have our favourites which we use ourselves, but we also have a wealth of recommendations from our clients across a wide range of industries.
At The Peloton we like to really get to know our clients’ businesses and offer help wherever we can. During your first month with us we offer a Business Strategy call with one of our 2 Directors Mike and Gus. Both have invaluable business experience and are straight talkers. They’ll ask you about your challenges and offer your brilliant advice.
It costs money to file accounts with the government and some accountants will charge this as an ‘extra’. At The Peloton this is covered as part of your monthly fee.
At The Peloton we mean fixed fee when we say it. So if you have a query relating to an accounting service that we carry out for you then you don’t need to worry about receiving an unexpected bill. Please note this is subject to a generous fair use policy and should you be close to exceeding this we will give you plenty of warning.
We run regular free Xero training sessions and other events aimed at small but growing businesses. We also hold an annual Gin in the ‘Ryn party where we open our doors until we’re fit to burst and serve local gins as well as delicious nibbles.
We are a virtually paperless office at The Peloton and where there’s a more efficient way to do something, we’re all over it. So with us you can expect e-signing, automatic SMS and email reminders and access to an online digital vault to securely store all documents. We also send all of our paperwork via a secure online portal.
We will send you automatic reminders via SMS and email of things you need to do, meaning you’ll have plenty of time to do them and won’t receive any nasty HMRC fines.
